My own buying a website site is very focussed on buying and selling websites and I swear by seoquake. Great discovery! I feel that it sometimes slows down Firefox but, hey, it can always be turned off easily. It's also fantastically useful in Google searches where it adds meta data to each search result. If you haven't tried that, do give it a shot. Especially when you're doing research by backlinking checking.
